Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum

Pastor Tim grew up in Saginaw, Michigan where his father served as Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church. He graduated from Trinity Seminary in Columbus, OH in 1980 and has been serving Zoar since 1985. He and his wife Kate have twin sons, Aaron and Matthew, and a daughter, Allison. Pastor Tim has a wonderful way with teenagers and willingly participates in youth activities (especially any that involve skiing).

 

Community Pastor Ann Marshall

Pastor Ann joined the Zoar family in August 2007 as our community pastor. She graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1997 and was ordained a few months later. After serving ten years in the Indiana-Kentucky Synod, Pastor Ann returned to her roots in northwest Ohio. Born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio, she spent most of her adult life in Columbus before being called to serve in northeast Indiana. Prior to entering seminary, Pastor Ann worked for eleven years as a social worker and social justice advocate for poor and homeless persons. Her call to Zoar includes an emphasis on social justice ministries, outreach, mission, evangelism and small groups. Pastor Ann is married to Michael Montgomery and has two adult children Sarah and Nathan. She likes reading, knitting, cooking, tending a few flowers, and watching “Law & Order” reruns.
